Fr. Bill addresses the obligation to celebrate Sunday Mass and answers the questions:
Why do Catholics go to Mass on Sundays?
How did the command “Keep Holy the Sabbath” shift from an observance on Saturday for the Jewish People to Sunday for Christians?

Father Bill, can you explain what and how we can receive the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is received sacramentally in the Sacrament of Confirmation. It is also received one way or another through all of the Sacraments, since the Trinity is invoked in all Sacraments.
Ultimately, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are gifts from God and he bestows those gifts on whom He wills — which is liberally, but many do not recognize, nor choose to make good use of those gifts.
However, as with all graces, the most concentrated way to receive them is through the Sacraments of the Church, through which Christ continues to sanctify his people, and through his people, the world.
